TRIO!

Hey everyone!

So there is one word that everyone in the mission fears.....trio.......well I got to hear that word this morning.........We got the call for cambios, yep it is that time again, and I got to hear that trasured word........I will now be in a trio with my dear hermana sterling and also our newest addition......Hermana Ellis! She is right our of her training like hermana Sterling, so that is fun! 3 gringas in the big city! aha

Well this last week was pretty chill. Not a lot new. Hermana Sterling and I both got the cold this last week so that was super fun. God was nice though and made it where if I was super bad she was a bit better and vice versa. I blame the rain one day and then 90 degree weather the next haha.

we worked a lot with less actives this week. We got some references from the ward this last week and we were going to visit the next day, and then just like every other cliche missionary story, we were walking in the street and we saw some people working in front of their house and asked if we could help. Turns out they are some menos activos that were a reference. We visited them that night and the next day, and they came to church on sunday. Patricia, the mom, was baptized a few years back and then found a boyfriend and went inactive. She has a son, 15, and a daughter, 8. So we will be working with them to get her daughter baptized because the son has already been baptized. They are a super awesome family. Love them!

We also got to go visit a member who served her mission in the temple square mission. So me and my companion got a once in a lifetime oppourtunity and tught her in English. One of the weirdest things ever because we are so used to teaching in spanish haha but it was awesome! She also told us a lot of experiences from her mission, and it helped us to see that really we are sent to a certaing mission for a reason.

We also had the groundbreaking ceremony of the concepcion temple this last week. It was amazing! We didnt get to go to the actual ceremony, but it was broadcasted to us, and there was a special spirit that cant be put into words. The Chileans have been waiting for this for 6 years now, and some of them were even crying during this ceremony with excitement. I think sometimes we take advantage of the easy access we have to the temple. I know I did.

Love you all and have a great week!
